| The rotary knives upon longitudinal
cutting create normally a large amount of dust. This
dusting interferes with quality standards upon the transformation
of paper and board. The largest amount of dust is created,
e. g. in a sheeter by the longitudinal cut. The dust
removal device for rotary knives was developed for rewinders,
sheeters, paper machine edge cutting, slitters, etc.
in order to increase quality standards by removing the
dust created by the cutting operation. |

DOX Dust Removal Description
This dust removal device works independently
from web-speed and only little space is required for
the installation. The hoods around the rotary knives
do not interfere with the cutting operation and all
knives with the hoods can be set in any cutting position.
The hoods can be equipped with antistatic units and
air pressure pipes to clean the sheared edges by compressed
ionized air. |
