The pick-up cylinder rotates in a tank with the spray
emulsion. The spray water film on the pick-up cylinder
caused by adhesion will be devided into finest droplets
by a rotating brush roller and sprayed homogeneous across
the working width.

DOX Brush Spray Unit Description
Developed for continuous operation, this spray unit, wich
is of sturdy construction, has been successful for many years.
Normal water supplies may be used without special treatment
to provide an absolutely uniform, very fine spray, across
the sheet width.
This damper is adjustable to suit variations in the web run
and can be readily installed into existing machines.
For rewinding machines, synchronisation with the speed of
the rewinder can be provided. Range of adjustment is 1:25.
A special model is available for impregnation.
The brush roller sprays an even water film over the entire
sheet width. The speed of the pick-up cylinder is variable
and allows to provide practically any amount of water required
on the paper. The brush roller itself rotates at constant
speed. The water trough is made from stainless steel though
providing a corrosion-free spray unit to prevent any extra
maintenance.
The application is absolutely dreep-free and the system can
also be fed from a tank with a solution.
