11/2004 - Frankfurt - World largest paper machine for SC paper in Kvarnsveden, Sweden
will use VIB AirTechplus 6 and VIB GlossTech technology Metso Paper Jδrvenpδδ ordered VIB AirTechplus 6 and VIB GlossTech for the widest paper machine ever built. The giant PM 12 at Kvarnsveden will have a capacity of 420.000 t/year of SC paper. Start-up is scheduled for end of 2005. The OptiConcept paper production line has a wire width of 11,3 m. The VIB AirTechplus 6 and VIB GlossTech systems will be used both for the paper machine and in the off-line multinip calenders. |
11/2004 - Atlanta - New VIB MoistureTech for China
Zhejiang Xianhe Special Paper in Zhejiang, China has ordered a new VIB MoistureTech system. The system is complete with steam extraction system and integrated control. The system will be operated with the new operator workstation, OWSPlus, for easy handling.
11/2004 - Atlanta - New VIB SmoothTech for the US
Weyerhaeuser Longview, WA has ordered a new VIB SmoothTech for their PML3. The system is for smoothness improvement on board grades. |
