06/2002 - Frankfurt - VIB steamshowers are the first to achieve certificate for pressure equipment

On May 28, 2002 VIB has proven that their steamshowers are passing the new EC pressure directive no. 97/23/EC, annex III, module H.
In a test VIB has proven that their steamshowers, VIB SteamTech, VIB GlossTech, VIB SmoothTech, VIB CurlTech and VIB MoistureTech, have been passed 3,6 bar pressure.
Bureau Veritas has given VIB the certificate to produce steamshowers under the new European directive.
VIB again take the lead in achieving the new standard. This shows that the VIB people set a high value on quality, safety and newest technologies and standards.
In the long history of VIB, we have achieved certificates for the old directives and now for the newest, as well as certificates for pressure equipment, electronic equipment EC, UL and cUL, and for our ISO 9001 quality management.

06/2002 - Frankfurt - Qualitek QCS System for Sweden

Kappa Förenade Well in Eslöv, Sweden has bought for their corrugator a new quality and production control system from Qualitek VIB. The Quality Control System will be the first corrugator production control unit in Sweden.

06/2002 - Frankfurt - VIB AirTech^{Plus 6} for South Africa

Mondi Kraft Richards Bay has ordered a VIB AirTech^{Plus

6} system for high resolution moisture control for their PM 2. This Plus 6 system will replace a competitive spray. The integrated Plus 6 system is the first for the Southern Hemisphere. It has high resolution control with 60 mm zone definition.

Bowater Donnacona has upgraded their online multinip calender with VIB SmoothTech technology to improve gloss and smoothness on their SC paper.
