04/2002 - Frankfurt - World largest paper machine for newsprint at Langerbrugge, Belgium will use VIB SteamTech and SprayTech technology
Metso Paper ordered a VIB SteamTechTFF, VIB SmoothTech and VIB AirTechPlus 6 from VVN Solutions GmbH in Maintal, Germany, for the widest papermaking machine ever built. The giant PM 4 at Langerbrugge, close to Gent, will produce approx. 400.000 tpy of newsprint, start-up is scheduled for summer 2003. The OptiConcept paper machine has a wire width of 11100 mm and a trim width at reel of 10400 mm. Design speed is 2.000 m/min.

Munksjö Förpackningar in Nybro, Sweden has ordered a SprayTek spray systems for their corrugator to reduce all kind of warp problems and improve quality of board. |
04/2002 - Atlanta - 3 new orders for Qualitek VIB
Commencement Bay, Orting WA has ordered an integrated Qualitek Control System for their corrugator. This system will provide all production control functions (bridge speed controls, splicing controls, speed optimization) and quality control functions (heat control, wrap arms, doublefacer, glue gap settings). The system is part of a larger equipment upgrade on the corrugator and will be installed in June. PhilCorr LLC, Vineland, NJ has ordered SprayTek moisturizers for their corrugator. These moisturizers will be integrated into the existing Qualitek Quality Control System that has been in operation since 1998. International Paper, Bay Minette, AL has ordered a Qualitek Production Control System which will be integrated into the existing Quality Control System that has been in operation since 1997. |
