06/2001 - Helsinki - VIB at the PulPaper in Helsinki
At the PulPaper show the joint venture VVN between Metso and VIB informed the exhibition visitors about the new technical applications for example at Holmen Paper AB, Hallstavik mill. PM 11, where there will be a full scope of all the new products delivered through Metso Paper Inc. The delivery includes VIB SteamTechTFF for the press section, VIB AirTech Classic in the dryer section and several VIB SmoothTech profilers for this new OptiConcept papermachine. PM 11 will have a wire width of 9.3 m, and a design speed of 2000 m/min., producing machine finished magazine paper grades. Bowater Calhoun, TN has ordered a complete VIB AirTech Classic system for their PM 2 with 50 mm edge zones for extra moisture control performance and better roll building.
